We Guarantee

• The surf school is licensed by Portuguese authorities.
• The trainers are International Certified Coaches and lifeguards.
• During the surf lessons all students are covered with our sports insurance.

What You Get

• Equipment always adapted to your skills. (surf board with leash, a wetsuit and wax)
• Lessons that are always supervised on the water by a qualified surf coach.
• Round way transport to and back from the beach for each surf lesson.
• The location of the lessons can be at Arrifana, Monte Clerigo, Amoreira or Odeceixe.
• Group classes compromise a maximum of 8 students per trainer.
• Private lessons and one to one lessons available.

Each day, 2 surf sessions, (90 minutes each).

A day at the surf school

MORNING SURF SESSION

Part 1; land lesson from 30 minutes. The lessons always start on the beach with thirty minutes of instruction, warming up and practice.
Students learn techniques for paddling, standing, falling, dodging and selecting waves along with surfer’s etiquette, stretching and much more.

Part 2; water lesson from 1 hour. After students have learned the techniques on land, we move into the ocean for one hour of guided surf instructions. During this time the instructor will push and coach students into the waves. The coach tells the students what they are doing right, and where to improve. Students are able to surf on their own by the end of the first lesson.

AFTERNOON SESSION

The second part of the day offers you two options. Students have the option to keep the surfboard and practice what they have learned for the remainder of the day under supervision of the instructor or returning the equipment and spend the rest of the day on the beach.

PACKAGES

Surf and Accommodation PACKAGE, 1 week

Includes:

• 7 nights accommodation to your choice.
• A 5-day surf course with 15 hours of guided practice.
• All surf equipment adapted to your skills. (surf board with leash, a wetsuit and wax)
• Sports insurance during all your classes.
• Lunch at the beach. This normally consists of sandwiches, salads, some fruits and water.
• Certified Surf Coach trained in teaching surf, water rescue, First Aid and CPR.
• Round way transport from the house to the beach and back to the house.

EXTRA INFORMATION

• All prices are per person per week.
• We provide free pick ups from Lagos bus station, Lagos train station and the Aljezur area.
• For custom packages please contact us!
• MID SEASON – 1st May until 30th June, 1st September until 31th October.
• HIGH SEASON – 1st July until 31th August.
